Q: Will there be Race Day Registration?
A: Registration opens at 7:00am and closes 45 minutes before the start time of each field.
- Download and fill out the Entry Form / Release. Bring filled-out form with you along with payment
Q: Do I need a timing chip on race day?
A: Yes if you want to be scored in the event you will need a timing chip.
Q: When does Number Pick-up close on Race Day for Preregistered racers?
A: 45 minutes before your start-MANDATORY because of chip timing
Q: What if it snows or there is inclement weather on Saturday April 16th ?
A: Keep an eye on this site, dbcevents facebook and twitter pages for updates if inclement weather is predicted or a Pandemic prevents the event from happening. If the weather forces the race to not be held in 2022, you will get 80% of your entry fee back. Please be advised it will take dangerous weather conditions for Boulder Roubaix to be cancelled. There will be no make up event.
Q: What if I have never raced before ?
A: No problem, there is a CAT 5 race for beginner women and men. There are two waves for men: SM 5, under 40 and Masters cat 5 over 40yrs old. Women have 1 group to race in. You can also find information at coloradocycling.org.
LICENSES:
USA CYCLING: You must have a USA Cycling license to race. Annual licenses available at www.usacycling.org.
- Junior licenses free here.
- 1-Day Beginner license: $10, only for Cat 5 Men/Women who have never previously held a USAC license with a higher category. Can be purchased online when registering.
- USAC 1-Day Experienced license: $25, only available to former USAC category 1,2,3,4 and must be purchased thru your USA Cycling account.
COLORADO CYCLING: Membership required ($5 one-day available on site). Annual CC memberships available at coloradocycling.org. Not required for out of state athletes.
USA Cycling waiver must be signed by all racers or parent/guardian for anyone 18 or under.
